Charlie Morris was born in Miami in 1963. He grew up in Tennessee and Georgia, composing and playing various instruments from the age of 6. He played the Florida scene throughout his youth, and arrived in Europe in 1992 to seek his fortune and fame… Charlie Morris officiates in a country-blues, rhythm’n’blues vein, with soul and funky tendencies that are unanimously popular. Charlie Morris, on guitar, is backed up by an excephonal pianist in Markus Baumer from Fribourg. Rhythm is provided by Ivan Rougny, bassist extraordinaire, and talented local drummer Marco “Speedy” Jeanrenaud. Let’s groove!
